I’ve ran this for the last few years in a post-sample MG42 machine-gun and runs perfect. I’ve ran thousands of rounds of it. It is 178gr steel core with cupronickel jacket and berdan primed brass case. No hang-fires and not over-pressure (safe to shoot from both bolt guns, semi autos, and MGs….i’ve done it all). The best surplus 8mm I’ve ran in the MG42.
