The history behind these AK’s are actually quite interesting. These were some of the FIRST batches of AK’s to ever be imported into the United States!
These GSAD’s were referred to as movie guns since they were imported on the west coast and a lot of them were used in films such as red dawn in the 1980s.
This rifle in particular, has a very low serial number of 2749. GSAD imported 3900 rifles per month, meaning that this was imported during the first month of importation.

Very interesting piece of history. I hate to see it go from my collection but personally I can’t justify it.
