Unlike conventional rimfire suppressors, the FireCat22™ is engineered to withstand the abuse of full-auto fire, Force Reset Trigger (FRT)-equipped firearms, and even high-pressure calibers such as 5.56mm and 5.7×28mm, all while shrugging off heavy fouling and aggressive cleaning. FireCat22™ Suppressor Details
Constructed from Inconel 718 using advanced Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), the FireCat22™ embodies uncompromising durability in an ultra-lightweight rimfire suppressor capable of enduring aggressive firing schedules. Measuring just 1.125 inches in outer diameter and 5.0 inches in length, the FireCat22™ leverages the exceptional strength and erosion resistance of a nickel-based superalloy to provide a service life far beyond that of conventional rimfire suppressors.
The additive manufacturing process enables intricate internal geometries that cannot be produced through traditional machining, optimizing gas flow, sound suppression, and fouling management while eliminating weld failures and compromising assembly joints. At the core of the FireCat22™ is a precision-engineered baffle architecture designed specifically for the unique pressure characteristics of .22 LR and similar cartridges. The optimized internal geometry maximizes dwell time and gas expansion, delivering outstanding sound reduction while minimizing first-round pop and reducing back pressure.
Inconel 718’s exceptional resistance to heat, erosion, and corrosion ensures the FireCat22™ maintains its structural integrity through extensive firing schedules and aggressive cleaning commonly required with rimfire ammunition. Unlike traditional .22 caliber suppressors that are susceptible to wear and chemical damage, the FireCat22™ is engineered for longlasting dependable service under demanding conditions. By eliminating weld seams and conventional joints, the DMLS manufacturing process removes common failure points while maximizing strength-to-weight efficiency.
The FireCat22™ is offered with precision-machined 1/2×28 threads to ensure secure, repeatable alignment and concentricity across compatible firearm platforms.
